Downtown Silver Spring Beauty Store Targeted Twice: Police Investigate Thefts, Assault

Montgomery County Police are investigating two thefts and an assault that occurred last March at the Beauty Pro store inside the Ellsworth Place mall in downtown Silver Spring.

MCPD detectives seek public assistance in identifying three suspects and have released surveillance footage and photographs.

According to an MCPD press release, the three suspects allegedly committed theft at the Beauty Pro store on Friday, March 1, and Sunday, March 3. When confronted by the victim regarding the stolen property, the suspects refused to return it, assaulted the victim, and fled the scene.

MCPD described the suspects as three teenage girls of unknown race, around 5 feet 6 inches tall with dark hair.
