Sweeteria Dessert Café will host its Grand Opening this Saturday, November 28, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to an event listing on their Facebook page.
The Thai street food-inspired café from the owners of the neighboring Kao Thai Restaurant soft-opened last month at 8646 Colesville Rd. in downtown Silver Spring. The menu features seasonal specials, including Thai Tea Toast with Coconut Ice Cream and a Strawberry Croissant with Fresh Strawberries and Cream, as well as savory items, such as roti. Salads, as well as sparkling and frozen drinks, round out the menu. Vegan and Gluten-Free options are now available, according to the Grand Opening announcement.
In addition to 25% off all purchases on Saturday, Sweeteria will give gift cards to the first ten customers during the Grand Opening. The café can be contacted at (301) 328-5877, as well as on Instagram and Facebook. Delivery is available via GrubHub and Uber Eats.
