The Angry Jerk will host a soft opening event this week, according to a post on the outlet’s Instagram account.
The restaurant, advertising “authentic Caribbean cuisine,” will hold a soft opening event Wednesday evening, in the former location of The Big Greek Café at 8223 Georgia Ave. in downtown Silver Spring. The Big Greek Café moved down the street to the former home of Fat Fingers at 8213 Georgia Ave. last summer.
According to the soft opening event announcement, the new restaurant is owned by Society Restaurant & Lounge founder Jason Miskiri: “Caribbean flavors are coming to downtown Silver Spring. Conveniently located on the main thoroughfare, Angry Jerk, promising “authentic Caribbean cuisine.” Another mastermind business from Restaurant Owner and Entrepreneur Jason Miskiri.”
