Zed’s Café has reopened in downtown Silver Spring, according to posts in the Downtown Silver Spring-ers Facebook group.
The café temporarily closed in October of last year, citing staffing issues. Located at 8225 Georgia Ave., Zed’s is owned by Zed Mekonnen, who also owns Silver Strings at 8630 Colesville Rd.
The café’s current operating hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
