Montgomery Parks and the county’s recreation department have combined to launch a new ActiveMONTGOMERY website designed to improve residents’ experience when registering for programs and activities, officials announced.
The system provides the ability to search for, register and pay online for classes, camps, memberships and lessons offered by both entities. In addition, residents can reserve and pay for a variety of public facilities managed by the Community Use of Public Facilities department.
There is also a new blog that “provides information on setting up accounts, how to add family members to accounts, program withdrawal and refunds, how to make reservations, information on waitlists, types of memberships and many other topics to help provide users a smooth transition to the new website,” according to the announcement.
Registration for spring programs is open now. Registrations will open soon for the following:
- Summer Camp, Tuesday, Feb. 22
- Ice Rinks and Tennis Winter Session 2, Wednesday, Feb. 23
- Athletic Fields, Tuesday, March 1, and
- Picnic Shelters and Park Activity Buildings, Tuesday, March 1.
