Acorn Urban Park will host the final date of Acoustics and Ales, Montgomery Parks’ winter happy hour series with live music, locally crafted beer, and food.
The final Acoustics and Ales event, running from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Acorn Urban Park in Silver Spring, will feature beer from Silver Branch Brewing, food from The Big Greek Food Truck, and music from Ted Garber.
A representative from Montgomery Energy Connection will also be on hand to swap out old incandescent and compact fluorescent bulbs for energy-efficient LEDs, according to Montgomery Parks.
The event is free and registration is not required. More information and event guidelines can be found on Montgomery Parks’ website.
Previous events in the Acoustics and Ales series were held at Germantown Center Urban Park, Arora Hills Local Park in Clarksburg, and Elm Street Urban Park in Bethesda.
