Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigation Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Silver Spring.
“Ammad Sylla, age 14, was last seen on March 2, 2022 in the 14100 block of Old Columbia Pike in Silver Spring,” reads an MCPD news release. “Sylla is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 110 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing he was last seen wearing.
“Police and family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ammad Sylla is asked to call the Montgomery County Police SVID at (240) 773- 5400 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279- 8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.”
