Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old girl from Silver Spring who was last seen Tuesday night.
“On Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at approximately 10 p.m., Kely Yamile Cornejo Huezo, age 14, was last seen at her residence in the 2000 block of Georgian Woods Pl. in Silver Spring,” reads an MCPD news release. “Huezo is approximately 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and weighs 145 pounds. She has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and blue jeans with a red sweater tied around her waist.
“Police and family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kely Yamile Cornejo Huezo is asked to call the Montgomery County Police SVID at (240) 773-5400 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.”
