UPDATED: Silver Spring Woman Missing Since Wednesday

UPDATE 5/20/22 12:23 p.m. — Montgomery County Police tweeted that Dana Lauren Berg has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Silver Spring Investigation Section ask for the public’s assistance in locating a 42-year-old woman who was last seen Wednesday in downtown Silver Spring.

“Dana Lauren Berg was last seen on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at approximately 11:35 a.m. in the 1200 block of East-West Highway in Silver Spring,” MCPD said in a news release. “Berg may be driving a light blue Honda CRV with MD tags 6EK1945. She may also have two Tibetan Terrier dogs, one a golden-brown color and the other reddish-brown. Berg is 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and weighs 280 lbs. She has blonde shoulder-length curly hair.

“Police and family are concerned for her welfare. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Dana Lauren Berg is asked to contact the Silver Spring Investigation Section at (240) 773-6870 or the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.”
