UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Daleyah Sanchez has been located safe and unharmed.

Montgomery County detectives are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Silver Spring teenager, according to a press release.

Daleyah Sanchez, 16, was reported missing from the 11400 block of Lockwood Dr.

She is described as about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with medium length brown hair.

“Police and family are concerned for Sanchez’s welfare,” according to the release.

Anyone who has information about Sanchez or her location can call the department’s non-emergency number at 301.279.8000 24 hours a day, or the Special Victims Investigation Division at 240.773.5400. Callers may remain anonymous.
