UPDATED: Police: Silver Spring Teen Missing Since Feb. 19

UPDATE: Montgomery County Police tweeted that Marsamo Kranidis Schmidt has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the county’s Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 16-year-old from Silver Spring.

Marsamo Kranidis Schmidt was last seen on Sunday, Feb. 19, in the 10200 block of Tenbrook Drive, MCPD said in a news release. Schmidt is approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall, and weighs 190 pounds. He has black medium-length locs and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, a black hoodie sweatshirt, dark athletic pants, and black sneakers.

He may be carrying a black rolling suitcase with a gold tassel, MCPD said.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Marsamo Kranidis Schmidt is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
