Montgomery County Police are seeking help in locating 14-year-old Genesis Chavez, who has been missing since August 2.
The last time Chavez was seen was at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, in the 3400 block of Hewitt Ave. in Aspen Hill, according to a press release issued by the MCPD. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts with white stripes, and green sandals.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Genesis Chavez is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line). Callers may remain anonymous.
