J. Hollinger’s: A Hotspot for Winter Restaurant Week, According to DCist

DCist has announced its selections for the upcoming DMV Winter Restaurant Week, which is scheduled to start on Monday.

Several Silver Spring restaurants will take part in the event, including All Set Restaurant & Bar, Matchbox, The Daily Dish, and J. Hollinger’s Waterman’s Chophouse in downtown Silver Spring, which was chosen as a top pick by DCist:

This Silver Spring mainstay steakhouse offers both a $25 lunch and $40 dinner, three courses for each with additional a la carte options from the raw bar. For lunch, try the veggie tempura, chophouse burger, and lemon posset. At dinner, opt for a more decadent meal with clams casino, pot roast, and a pear tart.

Participating restaurants will offer multi-course brunch and lunch options for $25 or $35 per person, as well as multi-course dinner menus for $40, $55, or $65 per person for on-premise dining. Some restaurants will also extend their brunch offerings on Monday, Jan. 15, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Additionally, several restaurants will provide cocktail, wine, and non-alcoholic pairings, offering a range of beverage choices for diners.
