Mandalay Restaurant & Café is exploring opening a second location and looking for customer input.
Owner Joe Myint plans to open a quick-service Mandalay location at Ivy City Food Works in Northeast D.C., offering delivery and carryout in addition to the full-service downtown Silver Spring restaurant.
In addition to Mandalay, the Myint family owns Bandoola Bowl at Western Market in Foggy Bottom and previously operated Sticx in Georgetown, which closed in 2023 and was subsequently replaced by Han Palace.
Mandalay Restaurant & Café is located at 930 Bonifant Street in downtown Silver Spring and can be found online at mandalayrestaurantcafe.com.
