The Silver Spring ice skating rink at Veterans’ Plaza is now open for the season.
Hours are noon-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday, noon to midnight on Friday, 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Sundays. The rink is open for extended hours (10 a.m.-11 p.m.) on days that the county’s public schools are out.
Skating sessions are $8 for 12 and under children and seniors and $9 for all others. Group rates and lessons are available as well.
Skate rentals are available in sizes from toddler size 7 to adult size 14 are $5 each.
