The Warwick Apartments at 1131 University Blvd. W, near the intersection with Sligo Creek Parkway, has been sold to Rockville-based Donaldson management company, according to the Washington Business Journal.
A local nonprofit is marking a one-year anniversary this month that they never expected to see. Community Connections was started in March 2020 by Silver Spring Cares, founded by Liz Brent, owner of Go Brent, a local real estate agency. The program’s purpose was to raise funds to help both food-insecure residents and local restaurants hit by the pandemic.

The Go Brent real estate brokerage has moved into the space at 914 Silver Spring Ave. formerly occupied by Innovative Business Interiors. The move is part of a trend that is seeing former street-facing retail space occupied by service businesses in downtown and elsewhere.
