A pair of veterans of Adega Wine Cellars in downtown Silver Spring will take over the space and open a similar café.

The Maryland State Highway Administration plans to resurface about one mile of Colesville Road (U.S. Route 29) from Georgia Avenue to St. Andrews Way, according to a recent press release.

The Takoma Park Police Department will be conducting four active shooter training scenarios beginning tomorrow at John Nevins Andrews School, according to a department announcement on Twitter.
