5th Annual Right From the Start

Join Babies Born Healthy, the Improved Pregnancy Outcomes Program, and the African American Health Program of Montgomery County as we host the 5th Annual Right From the Start Perinatal Education Fair & Workshop. The 2025 event is being held during Black Maternal Health Week, a national initiative that works to bring awareness to the maternal health disparities that exist not only in our region, but nationwide. The theme this year is: ““Healing Legacies: Strengthening Black Maternal Health Through Collective Action and Advocacy,” a sentiment we have been committed to from the beginning.
In addition to this years main event, we will be honoring some of our deserving community partners with our first Community Impact Awards.
Activities include:
- Exhibitor Fair featuring over 20 County programs, community organizations, and small businesses supporting birthing families
- Panel discusion featuring local maternal health experts
- On-site babysitting**
- Lunch included with registration
- Photobooth, door prizes, and more!
