Love Your Neighbor Community Sing: Love in Action!
Friday, April 4 from 6-9 p.m. in Church of the Ascension’s Parish Hall
Join Church of the Ascension, Carpe Diem Arts, Tommy’s Pantry, and Silver Spring & Takoma Park Mutual Aid for an evening of solidarity, song, and service! Come at 6 p.m. to serve the community, and at 7 p.m. we’ll sing in community!
Featuring guest song leaders Nikki Nesbary and Lilo Gonzalez!
Activities happening at 6 p.m. include:
- Join Tommy’s Pantry in packing extra meals and fun spring items (sidewalk chalk!) for kids to take home over their spring break!
- Join the SSTP Mutual Aid “Repair Cafe” group in mending clothing items that need a little TLC before they can be donated (new zippers, buttons, etc.)
- Make signs, posters, and cards (we’ll have some art supplies, but you’re also welcome to bring your own!)
- And probably more!
