The county has released the schedule of closings and other changes to mark the Presidents Day holiday Monday, Feb. 19.

All county offices and libraries will be closed for the holiday, as will state offices and courts.

The county’s liquor stores will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The Recreation Department’s aquatics programs and facilities will be open, though all other classes and programs for that day are canceled. The department’s administrative office, senior centers and community centers will be closed.

Park patrons should check www.MontgomeryParks.org for operating schedules, including Brookside Gardens, ice rinks and tennis centers.

TRiPS Commuter Store at the Silver Spring Transit Center will be open, though the TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store will not operate Monday. RideOn will run on a modified holiday schedule. Metrorail and Metrobus riders should check WMATA’s schedule information.

There will be no pickup of trash or recycling on Monday. All pickups will be made one day later in the week. The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station will be open normal hours for recycling and trash drop-off, but the Recycling Center and administrative offices will be closed.

Finally, all parking at county garages, parking lots and curbside meters will be free.
