The county has released its schedule of changes for the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday Nov. 25.
All county offices, libraries, Alcohol Beverage Services stores, and state offices and courts will be closed.
Ride On will operate on a Sunday schedule, while the Flash operates on weekend schedule, which means running the Orange line only; Ride On extRa and Flex rides will not be in service.
The TRiPS Commuter Store at Silver Spring Transit Center and the TRiPS Mobile Commuter Store will be closed.
Commuters can find MARC Train and commuter bus holiday information available online.
All recreation facilities and programs will be closed Thursday, and community recreation centers and senior centers will also be closed Friday.
Montgomery Parks headquarters, permits office and customer service office and most of Parks indoor facilities will be closed; more information is online.
The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station in Derwood will be closed Thanksgiving Day. County trash and recycling pickup service will not operate on Thursday; regular pickup will slide to Friday and Saturday.
Finally, parking at county garages, lots and street meters will be free on Thanksgiving.
