Recreation Center Fitness Passes Are Now Free for Montgomery County Residents

Montgomery County Recreation fitness passes are now free for county residents.

As announced last month, the free fitness passes will allow patrons to access fully equipped fitness rooms, open gyms (drop-in activities), and game rooms at any recreation center during regular operating hours.

For county residents to receive the free pass, they must provide proof of residency (a valid photo ID with an address or a photo ID with a current utility bill). Non-county residents may purchase a pass for $20 for one month, $80 for six months, and $150 for one year.

Aquatic centers are not included in the free fitness pass program.

“We are pleased to be offering this service free to our residents in 2023,” said Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich. “As we head into the new year and many are renewing their fitness goals, I encourage our County residents to take advantage of these great spaces. Make sure to head to a recreation center near you to check out all they have to offer. Thank you to the team at Montgomery County Recreation for helping make this happen.”

More information on the free fitness pass program is available online.
