Eggspectation Set to Make a Comeback in Montgomery County

Eggspectation is preparing to return to Montgomery County following the sudden closure of its Downtown Silver Spring location in 2020.

The MoCo Show reports that the Montreal-based chain will be making a comeback this spring with a new location at the renovated Burtonsville Crossing shopping center at 15701 Columbia Pike. The exact spring opening date has not been finalized and may experience delays, but progress is underway.

Eggspectation opened its first U.S. location in Elliott City in 2002 and Downtown Silver Spring in 2004, offering an all-day breakfast and brunch menu. However, the Downtown Silver Spring location closed in September 2020 and was replaced by Miss Toya’s Creole House in 2022.
