Metro riders now have a new tool to monitor performance and plan their trips with the addition of Metrobus data to MetroPulse, Metro’s real-time performance tracking tool.
Launched last summer, MetroPulse provides customers with up-to-the-minute details on bus and train locations, frequency, schedule adherence, and service advisories, empowering them to make well-informed travel choices.
“Metro is upholding its commitment to transparency and improving the customer experience with this new tool to track bus performance and help customers better plan their travel,” said Metro General Manager and Chief Executive Officer Randy Clarke.

MetroPulse, a web application currently in beta, complements other performance-tracking tools on wmata.com, including quarterly reports and scorecards that detail on-time performance and customer satisfaction for Metro services.
According to a press release, Metro aims to enhance MetroPulse by introducing new features like performance tracking for MetroAccess, a customer feedback reporting tool for real-time service issue reporting, and the launch of a mobile app.
