Montgomery County Adjusts 27 Ride On Bus Routes for Better Service in 2025

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation will modify 27 Ride On bus schedules starting Sunday, January 12, 2025, to enhance efficiency and on-time performance.

The changes reflect a reallocation of resources to improve service in high-demand areas, according to a press release issued this week, which detailed the following modifications:

  • Routes with new timetables: 1, 2, 5, 8-11, 15, 18, 27, 38, 46-49, 51, 54-56, 74, 90, 96-98, extRa Lime, Flash Blue, Flash Orange.
  • Routes with adjusted trips: 1, 2, 5, 8–11, 15, 18, 38, 46–49, 51, 54–56, 74, 90, 96–98, Flash Blue, and Flash Orange.
  • Route 27 has new frequency changes.
  • extRa Lime has an extended service plan that began November 17.

The new schedules will be available at rideonbus.com and in print.
