The county’s liquor stores will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Labor Day.

All recreation centers, senior centers and administrative offices will be closed, and aquatics programs and facilities open. (However, the Germantown Indoor Swim Center and Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center are closed for annual maintenance.)

Montgomery Parks facilities will vary by location; check the website for schedules.

Both the TRiPS Commuter store in the Silver Spring Transit Center and the mobile commuter store will be closed.

RideOn will operate on a Sunday schedule, though RideOn Flex will be closed. For Metro and MetroBus schedules, check the WMATA site.

The county’s refuse and recycling pickups will not take place on Monday. Each day’s pickup will be postponed one day (Monday to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, etc.). The Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station will be closed.
