Raynold Mandizabal, the chef-owner of Urban Butcher on Georgia Avenue, plans to open a second restaurant in Central, the new development on the corner of Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue.

Don’t panic over blood-soaked creatures lumbering down the streets of Silver Spring Saturday night. It’s just the return of the annual Silver Spring Zombie Walk.
As the weather starts to turn and the daylight is shorter, we’ve begun to reflect on what we’re hoping to see before the year ends. It’s not like we believe in Santa, or really ascribe to ANY religious holiday beliefs, BUT in the off chance that someone is out there listening — all we want for Christmas is for Quarry House Tavern & Adega Wine Cellars to reopen. Heck, we’d even take one or the other at this point.
