The county will begin vaccinating children 5–11 years old today (Nov. 4) following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s full approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for that age group, officials said.

Detectives from the county’s Major Crimes Division are investigating an incident involving a motor vehicle that occurred early this morning in Silver Spring.
“[I] just wanted to get the word out and warn everyone to park your car in well-lit areas, near a camera if possible. And if your car is like mine and often targeted for its converter, consider getting a shield or alarm.”
