First PJ’s Coffee in Area to Open on Georgia Avenue
The first of five PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans locations planned for the metropolitan area is scheduled to open this month on the ground level of The Core apartments at 8621 Georgia Ave.

Security Guard Shoots, Kills Man During Fight at 7-Eleven
A Hyattsville man was shot and killed early Sunday morning during a fight with a security guard at the 7-Eleven store at 8202 Georgia Ave., according to a Montgomery County Police Department press release.
