Downtown Silver Spring staple Crisfield Seafood was named one of the area’s top restaurants by The New York Times for its Mid-Atlantic specialties like seafood bisque, broiled fish, and filler-free crab cakes.
Ned Toms, a longtime employee of Crisfield Seafood, died last week at the age of 90, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.
Silver Spring’s Crisfield Seafood, Quarry House Tavern & Samantha’s Restaurant have been listed in Washingtonian’s article, “61 Neighborhood Restaurants That Make the DC Area a Better Place to Eat—and Live.”
