Lincoln’s Bar-B-Que will open for dinner tonight in the downtown Silver Spring space formerly occupied by AG Kitchen.
The restaurant is expected to start lunch service in the middle of next week, according to the company’s publicist.
The extensive menu includes barbecued pork, beef and turkey, and a list of side orders that includes corn, peppers and chilies, French fries, cole slaw, Old Bay fries, mac and cheese (also available in several varieties as an entrée), potato salad, collard greens, baked beans and mashed potatoes.
Diners also have choices such as fried or barbecued chicken, burgers, sandwiches and several seafood dishes, and there is a kid’s menu as well.
Barbecue fans can choose from six different sauces, depending on their preferences.
Once fully operational, hours will be 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday (lunch served 11 a.m.-4 p.m.) and 11 a.m.-midnight Friday and Saturday. Brunch will be offered Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and feature Bloody Mary and margarita bars.
