Core Silver Spring at 8621 Georgia Ave. is now leasing apartments and several already have occupants.
The building has a total of 292 units. Of those, there are 61 studio apartments (some with dens), 174 one-bedroom units (again, some have dens) and 57 two-bedroom apartments. Some units have private balconies and patios.
The monthly rent for each size varies. Studios run from $1,483-$1,673. One-bedroom apartments range from $1,607-$2,117 and two-bedroom apartments rent for $2,361-$2,596.
There are a variety of floor plans to choose from for each size unit; each two-bedroom apartment also has two baths. Twenty-four apartments are already occupied, according to Kara Swieconek, the building’s property manager.
The building’s amenities include a rooftop clubroom and kitchen (rentable to residents for events), outdoor fireplace and lounge. The rooftop also has a pool and sundeck.
Inside the building, residents will find a fitness center, concierge, and indoor garage parking with electric car charging stations and Zipcar access. The building is pet friendly and includes a designated dog park and a grooming spa.
