La Casita Pupuseria & Market is changing its annual Pupusa Day Celebration to a Stay-at-Home Feast, according to a tweet posted this morning:
“This year because of COVID and for the safety of our community we are not doing our usual on-location celebration on National Pupusa Day this Sunday, November 8th,” reads the tweet posted this morning. “We will have instead a Pupusa Feast to enjoy at home available for pre-order online and by call-in starting today.”
The $39.95 feast will include a 10-Pupusa Pack with Pupusas of your choice, Yuca Frita familiar, a Sweet Salvadoran Quesadilla, and a 32-ounce Horchata or Tamarindo. Every feast will also come with a QR code, which will link to special content about the history of National Pupusa Day.
According to National Today,
The Pupusa Feast can be pre-ordered online at their website, or by calling the restaurant at (301) 588-6656. In addition to the Long Branch location, La Casita has locations in Germantown, Gaithersburg, Nationals Park, and the recently opened La Cosecha at Union Market.
