The Eleanor will be closing its Downtown Silver Spring location for the winter season this Sunday, according to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
“It is our hope that we can return to serve you this spring or as soon as aid arrives,” the Facebook post reads. “We genuinely appreciate your support and encourage you to support local businesses this holiday season and beyond! If you have a minute to help, please follow @indprestaurants and sign their letter to urging Congress to pass restaurant relief. We will be open for takeout & delivery from 3-9:30 pm this Saturday & Sunday and would love to serve you. Thank you, and we hope to see you again in 2021.”
The Eleanor opened in February at 931 Ellsworth Drive, in the Downtown Silver Spring development.
