Silver Spring’s Caitlin Taylor will compete on Cakealikes, a new comedic cake competition show premiering January 4 on the Discovery+ streaming service.
Ms. Taylor, who owns The Artful Apron bakery and is the Lead Cake Artist at Duff Goldman’s Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, won Netflix’s Sugar Rush Christmas competition in 2019. She made the 30th birthday cake for Joe Jonas last year, and more recently, a cake for Drew Barrymore, according to CBS Baltimore.
