Gusto Permanently Closes Downtown Silver Spring Location

The fast-casual restaurant Gusto Farm to Street has permanently closed its Downtown Silver Spring location, according to a post on its Facebook page.

“We’re incredibly grateful to the Silver Spring community for supporting Gusto Farm to Street since we first opened our doors in 2015,” the Facebook post reads. “We’ve made the difficult decision to close our Silver Spring location given the ongoing challenges COVID-19 has presented us and the restaurant industry at large. We thank our loyal Silver Spring guests again for all of your support over the years! Stay safe and be well.”

Gusto opened the Silver Spring location at 8512 Fenton St. in 2015. According to Bethesda Beat and The MoCo Show, it temporarily closed some of its locations at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic: the Bethesda location, which closed permanently last October, and another in Westfield Montgomery Mall, which is listed on its website as temporarily closed. The Chantilly, Va. location remains open.
