Silver Spring Books, among the last of bookstores in Downtown Silver Spring after Borders closed in 2011, has closed. Their final day of business was yesterday.
We first learned of its impending closing in Silver Spring Inc.’s The Dirt e-Newsletter.
Customers took to Twitter to lament the closing of the independent bookseller:
