More than 30 restaurants in Silver Spring and Takoma Park will participate in the 4th Annual Silver Spring-Takoma Park Restaurant Week.
Restaurant week will start Tuesday, Sept. 4 and run through Sunday, Sept. 9, according to host Councilmember Tom Hucker (D-District 5), who spearheaded the effort in 2015.
Participating restaurants will offer two- and three-course lunches for $12 and $17, respectively. Two- and three-course dinners will cost $17 and $27.
“Silver Spring-Takoma Park Restaurant Week is a six-day culinary celebration highlighting the variety of dining options in the area,” said Hucker in a press release. “The participating restaurants embody the diversity of our community and offer cuisines from America and around the world, including Mexico, Ethiopia, China, Korea, Cuba and the Middle East. The affordable prices provide a great incentive to come to Silver Spring and Takoma Park for the first time or for regular diners to try something new.”
New participants in this year’s restaurant week include Buena Vida and sister restaurant Tacos, Tortas & Tequila at 8407 Ramsey Ave., Trattoria da Lina (7000 Carroll Ave., Takoma Park) and Port au Prince (7912 Georgia Ave.).
