Police Investigating Shots Fired at Vehicle in White Oak; Surveillance Video Released

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department’s 3rd District are investigating shots fired at an occupied vehicle that occurred shortly after midnight on January 23 in a commercial parking lot in White Oak. Area video surveillance captured the suspect firing a gun at the victim’s vehicle, and MCPD is asking for the public’s help with identifying the suspect.

“On Saturday, January 23, at approximately 12:43 am, officers responded to the report of shots fired in a business parking lot located at 11201 Lockwood Drive. Officers located the 43-year-old male victim, who stated that as he was driving through the parking lot, an unknown person driving a Nissan Maxima was traveling ahead of him. The driver of the Nissan Maxima stopped for unknown reasons, so the victim attempted to drive around the vehicle. As the victim drove around, the suspect exited his Nissan Maxima and fired multiple shots at the victim’s SUV. The victim was not injured but officers observed multiple bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle,” according to a press release.
