A Silver Spring woman wanted in a parental kidnapping case has been located and taken into custody, according to Montgomery County police.
Ashley Spicer, age 35, and her nine-year-old daughter Israel “Kali” Burk were found in Atlanta, Ga. yesterday.
The two originally were considered a missing persons case in October, when the department issued a press release seeking the public’s help to locate the two. Spicer had not brought Burk back to her father, who has full custody, nor gotten in touch with him.
Police charged Spicer with parental abduction in December following an investigation and issued a warrant for her arrest.
Burk is being reunited with her father.
