Montgomery County police say they have recovered a food truck that was stolen earlier this week in Silver Spring.
The truck was located yesterday in Charles County, Maryland, according to MCPD. The truck was unoccupied, and no suspects are in custody.
The food truck was discovered missing on Monday, May 31, 2021, according to an MCPD press release. The vehicle is described as brown and taupe with Turner’s Beltway Bistro logo on the side.
“The owner had just been cleared by the Board of Health to operate,” Montgomery County police spokesperson Shiera Goff said to WTOP.
According to WUSA9, owner James Turner reported spending about $52,000 on equipment in the truck and licensing for approval.
