Art of the Vine Series Returns to Locavino This Week

Locavino’s Art of the Vine series returns this Thursday, July 8, according to an email received by the Source.

The series, which pairs wine tasting with art exhibits from local artists, was placed on hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are so excited to welcome Tatiana Herrera and Nick Materese for our first in-person event in over a year!”, the email reads. “This Thursday, July 8, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Locavino will be hosting an art exhibit and wine tasting! If you love art, wine, or both please come meet the artist and indulge in some wine that just so happens to be called Tati!

“We’ll be offering 25% off glasses and bottles of Tati wines during the tasting and art exhibit. We hope to see you there!”

Locavino opened in August of 2019 in the space vacated by Adega Wine Cellars at 8519 Fenton St. in Downtown Silver Spring. The wine bar & café has received critical praise from the wine industry, being honored last year with a 2020 Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator magazine and employee Will Ferguson featured last month in Wine Enthusiast.
