Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins will hold a grand opening tomorrow of what’s being billed as a “next generation” combination restaurant, giving free coffee for a year beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 16 to the first 100 customers at 11140 New Hampshire Ave. in the White Oak area of Silver Spring.
In addition, franchise owner Luis Group and the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation will donate $1,000 to Driven to Cure following the 11 a.m. ribbon cutting.
Driven to Cure is a Silver Spring nonprofit that raises money to find a cure for rare kidney cancers including HLRCC in children and young adults.
The new location will employ 10 people and will be open from 5 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. The new design for the New Hampshire Ave. store includes openness, a premium pour system of taps for eight cold drinks, including cold brew and nitro-infused cold brew, along with espresso machines to make drinks to order, and energy-efficient construction design.
It also will feature Dunkin’ on Demand, an app-based mobile order and tracking system with a drive-through and a dedicated pick-up area in the store.
