Nips Juice House is holding a soft opening starting today (Saturday, July 31), from 3 to 6 p.m, according to a post to the outlet’s Instagram account. A grand opening is set for Thursday, August 5 at 12 p.m.
We reported in June that Chris and Chiara Donovan, a husband and wife team who started Nips Juice House in Waldorf, Md. in June 2018, would be bringing the concept to the former Jimmy John’s storefront at 8710 Cameron St. in downtown Silver Spring.
“All the juices are made in house using a hydraulic cold-press juice machine, Chris Donovan said to the Source last June. “All juices are made in house, mixed together and bottled at the Waldorf location.”
A sample of the juice menu includes Apple Aide (apple, cucumber, lemon, mint), Island Breeze (watermelon, pineapple, cucumber, lime, mint), OG Carrot (orange, carrot, ginger), Rose (carrot, apples, beets, pineapple, lemon) and more.
Nips also offers a wide choice of smoothies and bowls, largely fruit-based but some enhanced with additions such as granola, honey, pumpkin seeds or kale.
During the soft opening period, the shop will be open from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, and 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 2 through Wednesday, August 4.
