Detectives from the Montgomery County Police—Special Victims Investigation Division are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old from Silver Spring.
Zalira Ayers was last seen Sept. 30 at approximately 3 p.m., in the area of Bristol Avenue in the North Hills of Sligo neighborhood.
Ayers is described as approximately 5’8” and weighs 145 pounds, with brown eyes and braided black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie.
“Police and family are concerned for her physical and emotional welfare,” according to a press release.
Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Zalira Ayers is asked to call the Special Victims Investigation Division at 240.773.5400 or the police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000 24 hours a day.
