Copper Canyon, The Eleanor Broken Into Early Sunday

Both Copper Canyon and The Eleanor on Ellsworth Drive were broken into at about 1:40 a.m. on Sunday morning, according to a message to the Source from The Eleanor owner Adam Stein.

Nothing was stolen, he said, as the would-be thieves apparently were looking for cash after smashing Copper Canyon’s front door and The Eleanor’s patio door.

Two masked and hooded young men were caught on camera by both restaurants, as well as on one from Downtown Silver Spring.

The investigation is ongoing, Stein wrote.
