Concern for Missing Silver Spring Woman (Update: Located)

UPDATE: 10/26/2021 AT 7:19 a.m. — Montgomery County Police tweeted that Vanessa Olalekan has been located safe and unharmed.

County detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 24-year-old woman from Silver Spring.

“Vanessa Olalekan was last seen on October 23 at approximately 3:30 a.m., at her residence in the 1100 block of East-West Highway of Silver Spring,” according to a news release. “Olalekan is 5-feet-4-inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Olalekan has black hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing she was last seen wearing.

“Police and family are concerned for her physical and emotional well-being.

“Anyone who has information regarding the whereabouts of Vanessa Olalekan is asked to call the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6870 or the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24 hours).”
