DOT to Hold Hearing on Proposed Shared Use Path on Dale Drive

The county’s Department of Transportation will hold a virtual public hearing on a proposal to create a shared use path and other safety improvements along Dale Drive, officials announced.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. and participants must register online to receive an electronic invitation to participate.

The proposed path would run along the north side of Dale Drive from Georgia Avenue to Colesville Road, and on the south side of Dale Drive from Columbia Boulevard to Woodland Drive.

In addition, the department is proposing intersection improvements at Columbia Boulevard and Grace Church Road, traffic calming features and drainage improvements.
