Ultra Nail Bar is now open, according to an Instagram post from Downtown Silver Spring.
We reported last year that Ultra Nail Bar would be opening in the former location of Next Day Blinds at 819 Wayne Ave. in the Downtown Silver Spring development. “It will offer an upscale nail spa experience with luxurious manicures and pedicures,” Laurie Yankowski, regional director of marketing for Peterson Companies, said in an email to the Source last December.
The same local owners operating Nouvelle Nail Spa at RIO Lakefront in Gaithersburg own the Silver Spring salon, she added.
Next Day Blinds closed all of its stores in July of 2020. A number of the locations were taken over by 3 Day Blinds.
Hours for the salon are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be made by calling the salon at (240) 641-5989.
