DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse will close its Ellsworth Drive location on Jan. 22 as it prepares to move into new space in Ellsworth Place, 8661 Colesville Rd., according to a sign on the doors.
DSW expects to reopen on March 24. According to several reports, it will take over the fourth-floor space vacated by Guitar Center, which is smaller than its current location.
Guitar Center, which opened in April 2017, closed its Silver Spring location Jan. 3 following the company’s bankruptcy filing.
